Swarga, is a heritage stay located at the most central core of Kathmandu in Jyatha, Thamel.
After graduating from Australia and having the opportunity of working in the finest 6 star hotel, Palazzo Versace. I returned back home to convert our family residence into a heritage accomodation with a blend of Neoclassical and Traditional Nepali Exterior with Tibetan and Nordic Interiors.
The building was built by my parents 40 years ago as our primary family residence
I want you all to dwell into our homes, feel the warmth of Nepalese hospitality at its finest and to experience Nepali craftmenship.
I am the architect and the interior designer of the property aswell as the owner and host at Swarga.
At the property you will notice we have used a lot of salvaged wooden carved pillars, balcony balustrades and beautifully carved windows. I am very vocal and active in restoring and reviving our culture and tradition so that our future and the tourist can understand us better.
